Launch of Sharia home insurance

“Britain’s 2m Muslim can now purchase sharia-compliant home insurance. Salaam Halal insurance, which last year launched sharia-compliant car insurance, has added home insurance to its list of products. “British Muslims have been forced to take out products that are in conflict with their faith – until now,” said Bradley Brandon Cross, chief executive of Salaam Halal. “We are giving people the best of both worlds: a sharia-compliant choice at home and on the road, plus a good deal on their insurance.”
