About us
Principle Insurance Holdings Limited is the trading name of British Islamic Insurance Holdings Limited.
Salaam Halal insurance is the trading name of Principle Marketing Services Limited. Takaful cover arranged by Principle Marketing Services Limited is underwritten by Principle Insurance Company Limited, and the contracts have been approved by our Shariah Supervisory Committee based on the Islamic principle of Takaful.

The following companies are each incorporated in England and Wales with registered offices at 8 Duncannon Street, London WC2N 4JF:

Principle Insurance Company Limited and Principle Marketing Services Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Each of these companies is on the FSA register. The FSA registration number of Principle Insurance Company Limited is 467853 and the FSA registration number of Principle Marketing Services Limited is 480153. You can check details of these two companies on the Financial Services Authority website at www.fsa.gov.uk/register.

Principle Marketing Services Limited is licensed under the Consumer Credit Act, licence number tbc.
Under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, if Principle Insurance Company Limited is unable to meet all our liabilities to Takaful Participants, compensation may be available. Those eligible can claim 100% of the first £2000 and 90% of the remainder of their claim, without any upper limit. Your Takaful Cover
Principle Marketing Services Limited arranges the sale of Takaful Contracts on behalf of Principle Insurance Company Limited.
This website, the products and the services offered on it comply with the relevant UK laws and regulations. Our products and services are only available to people who are resident in England, Scotland and Wales. We will not provide cover for residents of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Unless we agree otherwise, your Takaful contract with Principle Insurance Company Limited will be subject to the laws of England and Wales.
