The group has retained the services of leading professionals from the UK insurance industry to serve as Non-executive directors and to bring an independent view to the Board.
In addition to the Board of Directors and Executive Management, Principle Insurance Holdings Limited has a committee of Muslim Scholars in place to oversee the activities of the business in respect to compliance with Islamic law, known as the Shariah. This committee is referred to as the Shariah Supervisory Committee, and is made up of internationally renowned experts in the field of Islamic finance, and also its application within the legislative and regulatory frameworks of Western financial markets.
